Training students to be teachers and teachers to be students
The Surya Chandra Yoga Sanga is a non-profit organization whose mission is to link underserved or underprivileged communities desiring yoga with a yoga teacher who is able to teach to that specific community. We promote the practice of yoga as therapy and are prepared to help yoga teachers become better educated in learning how to teach communities in need through both training and funding.
If you are a yoga teacher and you currently teach to a special needs community please join our sanga (it's free)! You will become a part of our community of like-minded souls.
If you are a yoga teacher and you would like to teach to a special needs community, please contact us with your particular area of interest and your relevant training. if you are interested in receiving specialized training, please let us know.
